The second book in Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles series Throne of Fire will be released on May 3rd. This series follows Carter and Sadie and Egyptian mythology.

This series is fantastic. It is more difficult plot wise than the Percy Jackson series so it is great for readers who loved that series. The lexile for the red pyramid is 650 putting it at a fourth grade reading level.
