Supernaturally is the second book in the Paranormalcy series. This series stars Evie a girl who works for an organization that controls supernatural beings, the IPCA. Evie has a special power, she can see through the glamor of supernaturals that helps her with her job.
In this book Evie has moved out of the IPCA and is trying to live a normal life going to a regular high school and going out on dates with her boyfriend when the IPCA pops back into her life. She partners up with a human named Jack who can travel on the Faerie paths and tries to balance both worlds.
This book suffered from a major sophomore slump and was lacking in a strong plot to pull the reader through. The romantic relationships were strange and unsatisfying (and contained a scene where she sat and bawled miserably because of a breakup ugh) and while there were some very interesting moments in the story I felt a lot of it was boring. While I would recommend the first book in the series this book was a disappointment and I would not recommend it.
Appropriateness: There is no adult content in this book. Evie is in her late teens and acts her age (except for saying beep instead of cursing, that's just annoying). I would recommend this book to teens 13+
