This was a terrific final book in the series. It did a fantastic job continuing the feel of the series and also wrapping up all the things that were left dangling in earlier books. What happened to those who failed the testing? What is to come of the community and Cia's family and her love life. This series in some ways felt like a real copy of The Hunger Games when it first started but it was a nice surprise all the way through providing a satisfying conclusion.
Appropriateness: This is a very violent book and it is disturbing at times. Aside from the violence there is no adult content. I recommend this series for readers 13+
